I've been building Sclera for a while, but the best way to find out whether an animation tool really works is to make something with it. So I did. This animation was made entirely with Sclera.

Behind the Scenes

Working on a real project showed me what matters most in daily use: a fast timeline and a workflow that stays out of your way. Several improvements in recent Sclera updates came straight out of making this animation.

A Minecraft character crafting at a crafting table, with the item layers shown on the Sclera timeline
Animating the crafting scene: each item on its own layer, keyframed on the timeline.
A Minecraft spider walk cycle with its leg layers keyframed on the Sclera timeline
The spider walk cycle, with each leg animated on its own layer.

More bug fixes and features are coming soon!

Try It Yourself

Everything in this animation was made in the browser, with no install needed. Create an account, open the editor, and start animating. I'd love to see what you make.
